Sorry, something went wrong. Just bought premium yet my downloads are capping out at 45 kbs. My internet usually downloads at 5mbs just wondering what the problem is. I have read through hundreds of complaints about the download speed and not one person has offered a solution nor has it been solved apparently.

Steps to reproduce: Download a mod through Mod Manager Download, happening with every mod. I decided to just get premium to have no download cap. I have restarted vortex, restarted my pc and nothing seemed to have worked.

Download speed is not limited by Vortex - at all. Even the non-premium cap isn't. That's all under control of the server. Vortex Version: 0. Best regards, Weston. I'm getting an odd issue where I have paid for premium download speeds, and get those when I am manually downloading from the nexus server. I've tried letting it through the firewall but I'm unsure of what else could be the problem.

I'm unsure if this is a temporary speed issue, as it's only being affected by downloading through vortex and it's been happening since yesterday. I'm aware that the solution would be to just download manually and install from file, but if there is anything I could try to fix it that would be great.

Once again, sorry if this is the wrong form to report this potential bug. A very painfully slow experience as downloading anything at that speed takes a long time, and I know it's not my internet connection because if I download manually I don't have this problem.

I have no problems with download speeds. Perhaps it's just the CDN node in your area that is currently having high traffic, as said earlier. Agree x 1. I'm new to understanding how CDN node works. It downloads quickly with 4g, but no matter what time even at 3am it downloads slow using wifi. I understand the update, yes, but this has been going on for weeks. Left my gaming pc on all weekend and it wasn't even half way done had about 25gb worth of mods which normally takes a an hour to update them all tops.

Would a vpn help? The device doesn't matter and neither does the router. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't my installation. I removed everything and it still does the same, except now I have to find all the mods. Have limited 4g data so may just download a few mods here and there until the wifi network works normally again.

If it works fine in 4G, but not with your home wifi, it's legit to think the issue may be coming from your connection. Have you done some speed test, tried to download some big files, etc etc. Maybe just a bad WiFi reception. Tried a cable? Thanks for the replies.
