You just need to make sure you don't delete any of the new files that have "Texture" in the name. The amount of sets I have done with linked textures and there are still people that remove the texture files then ask why textures are missing is astronomical.

I love your stuff, the only problem I have with it is the custom thumbnails drive me crazy, I wish there was an option without them. They're not hard to remove, though. Yeah, never going to happen though. Too much work for little payoff. Helps me find my content easier too.

Because they replace the old versions, that is why you need to remove the old version before putting in the new one as it will mess up the new texture linking and stuff will look odd. Only way it wont be replaced if if you save your game between removing the old files and putting the new ones in.

My advice is to go onto Ebay and buy a cheap used copy of the game. They should ask you for the CD key found somewhere on the manual or on a piece of paper that came with the CD version.
