Some updates failed to download, so I right-clicked in the WSUS console and selected "retry download". Their current status is that the files are downloading. Is there a way to force the download so they download now? I have synchronized but they are still downloading.

If update files are missing or have been corrupted, WSUS downloads the update files again. This command might be useful to run after you restore your database, or as a first step when troubleshooting update approvals.
